Working in the fire protection space, our client focuses on providing building controls through construction processes – predominately in commercial and industrial buildings. Currently, they are looking for a Construction Manager to offer leadership to a small team and lead projects within the Wellington and Greater Wellington areas. Previous experience within the construction industry is essential.
As well as a thorough knowledge of NZ building and construction practices, we are looking for a highly organised and motivated person who can bring knowledge and experience to the team. Communication in this role is key! And you will be highly proficient communicating with a range of relevant people, from clients, site managers, project managers and staff. While previous leadership experience is not essential, it is an important part of this role and one that you will want to step into and strive to bring the best out of your team and ensure quality workmanship.
This would be an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone who is looking to really get their career heading in the right direction.
