Executive Assistant

Established in the early 1990’s, our client is a well-respected and trusted supplier of work wear to numerous industries throughout New Zealand and Australia.

With a service that encompasses all process from design through to delivery, this comprehensive company has a varied and talented team of professionals driving the company forward. One in particular is the MD, who now requires the assistance of a highly organised and motivated Executive Assistant to become his “right-hand” and play a pivotal role within his team.

The main focus of this role is to assist the MD in day-to-day tasks and ensure the smooth operation of his office.

This will including managing a range of tasks and responsibilities such as:

  • Incoming and outgoing comms – calls, emails and mail
  • Organising meetings
  • Assisting with collating and writing reports/presentations
  • Liaising with internal and external parties, including clients
  • Assisting with other tasks as and when required

To ensure your success in this role, You will bring with you:

  • Administrative background with experience in a coordinator/operational role being highly desirable
  • Excellent communication ability – written and verbal
  • High level of organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Motivation to deliver your work to a high standard

Initiative is also highly prized, as your ability to anticipate the situation and requirements, will see you succeed in this role.

Based in Lower Hutt, this role will be Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm however, there may be some flexibility with these hours. While initially this role is on a temporary basis, there may be the opportunity for this role to develop into a full time, permanent role for the right person.
