Highly successful, our client is an award winning business that has been recognised on a global scale. As a result, they are now experiencing significant growth and require a dynamic IBM Planning Analytics Consultant to join and further enhance their Corporate Performance Management team. This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington.

The majority of your time in this role will be client facing, and focused on providing solutions for business planning. Leaning on your ability to learn and understand the needs of clients and their business is imperative and will also be apparent throughout your work history. A high level of competency across REST API, Planning Analytics Workspace and Watson Studio will be highly advantageous.

Further skills and abilities that will see you succeed in this role include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Planning Consultant or as an end-user of IBM Planning Analytics or Tm1
  • Strong financial accounting knowledge, or ideally, you are a trained accountant
  • Experience as project personnel in a budgeting and planning software implementation
  • Possess core Finance skills e.g. P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flows, Budgeting and Forecasting, Management/Board Reporting
  • Business Analyst skills
  • Consulting experience with the ability to work to project timelines, communicate with clients, work to budgets
  • Build, manage and maintain genuine business relationships
