Our client has an exciting leadership position ready and waiting for an assertive, “people-person”. Based in the Security Industry, and reporting to the Christchurch Regional Manager, this role takes full responsibility for the Christchurch Branch daily operations and staff performance.

Client facing, extensive HR duties including recruitment and disciplinaries, staff management and completing SOP's this role covers a blend of both on-site and office based tasks.

Offering scope and diversity, this role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Provide extensive staff management support to ensure smooth operational function of the Branch
  • Respond to client requests and requirements, directing action and providing solutions
  • Support and manage staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Lead Health and Safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for staff
  • Develop procedures, specifications, systems and processes
  • Contribute to the financial success of the business
  • Develop and nurture productive and effective relationships with internal and external contacts

Being an operations and leadership position, we are looking for a natural leader who enjoys nurturing a positive and motivating work environment and has the ability to handle several undertakings at the same time. The ability to continuously re-prioritise will be highly regarded. A current COA, First Aid Certificate and Full NZ Drivers Licence are requirements to undertake this role.

Utilising a broad range it will suit an organised professional with attributes including:

  • Proven success in an operational and staff management role – preferably in the Service or Security Industry
