Our client is a huge player in the Security Industry. With significant growth across the South Island, they are looking to implement a dynamic and capable leader to manage the Operations across both Otago and Southland regions.

Broad scope and plenty of responsibility to sink your teeth into, this position will offer both challenge, personal growth and a great opportunity to succeed and add value.

To really make an impact in this position, we envisage the ideal applicant would have experience and confidence across a number of commissions including:

  • Mentorship and staff training, motivating and enabling your staff to perform in a demanding industry
  • Rostering, and the ability to manage changing workloads and effectively utilise resources
  • Client focus with the ability to produce solutions and results, and successfully manage client requirements
  • Health and Safety across all levels within your set territory
  • HR including staff performance, retention and disciplinary procedures
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and interpret financial information and reports, and
  • Have a thorough knowledge of relevant NZ legislation in HR and H&S

Based in their Dunedin office, your territory will cover the Southland and Otago regions. Assisting you with the workload and offering support include an administrator in the Dunedin branch, a supervisor situated in Invercargill and a team of contractors and dedicated staff.

With a large territory comes the requirement to travel throughout both regions and it is expected that at least one night per week will be spent away. As clientele traverse across both private and government sectors, it is essential that you have no previous or pending criminal convictions.
