Providing a comprehensive service that covers commercial and residential construction, and interior and fit-outs, our client is a well respected and reputable company who have been based in Wellington for almost 20 years.
Currently, they are looking for a Site Supervisor to offer leadership and insight on future projects – predominately commercial. Previous experience in a leadership role within the construction industry is essential.
As well as a thorough knowledge of NZ building and construction practices and legislation, we are looking for a highly organised and motivated person who can bring knowledge and experience to the team.
Ideally, you will be a true “People Person” who can keep your finger on the pulse. Leadership is just as essential, and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to bring the best out of your team and ensure quality workmanship.
Further qualities and experience that our client will be looking for includes:
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience within a construction environment
- The ability to assess workloads and processes and prioritize accordingly
- Conscientious and thorough focus on Health and Safety
- Natural leadership with ability to communicate effectively
