Communication

Communication is paramount to the E3 Recruit Health and Safety ethos. We operate with clear and open communication pathways with employees and clients so we all are aware of any issues or possible issues in our work places. If we know about it, then we can look at solutions. We visit our staff at least every 2 weeks without fail at site. We tool box, assess hazards and educate our staff wherever we can on the importance of their safety. We thank our clients who work with us to meet the requirements of Section 34 of the Health & Safety at work Act 2015.

E3 Recruit:

  • Conduct regular On-Site Tool Boxes – sometimes with a side of lunch!
  • Enjoy active participation in client H&S Meetings
  • Ensure employee PPE equipment is available and to standard
  • Encourage employee recovery and rehabilitation

Hazards

Hazards are a constant presence in all work situations, and everyday life. Knowing how to approach different hazards is important. E3 Recruit encourage you to STOP and THINK before you ACT. E3 Recruit Limited have also identified hazards that we would class as High – Critical Risk. These are hazards that pose a High – Critical risk if exposed to or if anything were to go wrong.

They are:

  • Working at Heights
  • Working with Electricity
  • Working with Unguarded Machinery
  • Working with Asbestos
  • Working in Confined Spaces
  • Working with Hazardous Substances

E3 Recruit also view the use of illegal drugs as a workplace hazard and therefore conduct pre-employment and random drug screening.

Operating

We require all staff to be fully trained and hold appropriate licences before operating any machinery, vehicle or plant. Part of our recruitment processes include checking the validity of licences, level of training and competence of all employees.

We also require plant, machinery and vehicles that are to be operated by our employees to be fit for purpose and operationally sound.

PPE

To protect personnel and to minimise hazards within the work place ALL staff are required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment that is required to be worn on their assigned site/s. All E3 Recruit staff are notified of PPE requirements of each site prior to commencing work and ensured that relevant PPE equipment is at their fingertips!
