Their Auckland office have presented an exciting opportunity that has Business Development and Account Management merged into one pivotal role. Working with an established and diverse portfolio, you will be predominantly nurturing and managing large, substantial accounts which will offer you the chance to interact and negotiate with varying levels of management across a multitude of industries and backgrounds.

There will also be the opportunity to build robust relationships with smaller entities and grow your share of the market. With such scope, you are spoilt for choice with an extensive pool of potential sales opportunities to drive business development and seriously boost your earning potential.

With the main focus of this role being Building Relationships and Delivering Solution-based Sales, Communication will be your absolute strength. Your proven ability to form genuine relationships with clients and with those you work alongside will be a dominant trait throughout your professional history. Just as dominant and apparent throughout your work history will be your written communication ability; your execution of documentation, reports and proposals will come naturally.

For such an encompassing role, we are looking for a talented professional that enjoys variety, is motivated by challenge and is driven to succeed. Although energy and attitude speak volumes, experience in Business Development and Account Management is essential.

In short, if you have:

  • Established work history within Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Experience in strategic management, account management and negotiating
  • Hunter mentality with a proven record of successful business development
  • Financially savvy with sound reporting and documentation abilities
  • Compelling ability to build relationships
  • Previous experience within a Service-Based Industry
