Administration Assistant - Lower Hutt

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant to join their team. Based in a busy Lower Hutt depot, this role will cover a range of administrative tasks, and require you to be on the front line and provide customer service to all visiting clients.

Initially, this role will be temporary but could lead into a permanent role for the right person.

The main components of this role are to:

  • Provide a great customer service experience – phone, email, and face to face
  • Provide general administrative duties
  • Provide quick and accurate data input

There is also an opportunity to learn trade relevant tasks and cover administrative duties associated with the weighbridge area. Prior experience in this area would be highly advantageous.

Ideally, You will be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Quick and accurate word processing skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and being involved
  • The ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
