HCM Project Manager

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic HCM Project Manager to join their team - with the option to be based at either their Auckland or Wellington office.

Working across multiple projects at a given time, this role also encompasses a consultative aspect and involves engaging with customers and designing solutions that will deliver to their needs.

An essential part of this role is becoming a member of the PMO team, a network of likeminded specialists within the company who identify and implement ongoing process improvement in methodology and delivery.

While project details and deliverables will vary, the role will encompass several key responsibilities including:

  • Successful delivery of multiple, concurrent projects at any given time
  • Create, execute and review project work plans
  • Manage project budgets and day-to-day operational aspects
  • Ensure Organisational Change Management initiatives are managed throughout the project
  • Ensure accurate project documentation
  • Review and monitor deliverables and seek opportunities for improvement to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships

To be successful in this role, we are seriously considering applicants with the following attributes and qualities:

  • Proven project management experience
  • Understanding of the full lifecycle implementation and upgrade experience in medium to large scale HCM projects
  • Ability to work with the development team around rollouts of new functionality and aligning customer expectations
  • Experienced with Payroll, Time and Attendance or HR project
  • Project management experience of 1-3 Years (PMI or PRINCE2 an advantage)
  • Experience in managing teams, project budgets and client relationships
  • Thrives on being across all aspects of their projects and addresses risks and issues before they become problems
