The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Full Stack Engineer who combines outstanding technical ability with a genuine passion for innovation, problem-solving and building scalable software.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days sitting in meetings or managing from the sidelines. You'll be right at the heart of the action, designing, developing and delivering meaningful technology solutions while helping guide technical direction.
Working closely with an experienced Head of Engineering, CTO and a talented team of senior developers, you'll play a pivotal role in evolving a sophisticated SaaS platform used by entertainment venues internationally.
You'll have the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, take ownership of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, influence architectural decisions and embrace the latest AI development tools.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Building exciting technology: Design, develop and deliver innovative features across C#/.NET, SQL Server and modern web front ends.
- Leading technical innovation: Help shape architecture, technical design and engineering best practices while mentoring and collaborating with talented developers.
- Owning the full development lifecycle: Take ideas from initial concept and prototype through to production, testing and ongoing improvement.
- Solving interesting challenges: Tackle complex problems involving performance, data integrity, integrations, scalability and sophisticated business logic.
- Driving cloud excellence: Take ownership of the Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring the platform remains secure, reliable, scalable and cost-effective.
- Improving delivery and automation: Build and enhance infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging and deployment processes.
- Supporting international growth: Help prepare the platform for continued expansion across Australia, North America and the UK.
- Embracing AI: Leverage cutting-edge AI development tools to accelerate innovation, improve productivity and build smarter solutions.
- Making a genuine impact: Work closely with Product and senior leadership to turn great ideas into features customers love.
We're looking for someone who is technically strong, naturally curious and excited by the opportunity to help build something special.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience in a senior or technical leadership capacity.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#/.NET, SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript and React or similar frameworks.
- Proven experience designing, building and managing production infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Solid knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, identity management and monitoring.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- A strong understanding of SaaS architecture, performance optimisation, scalability, high availability and disaster recovery.
- Experience building APIs, integrating complex systems and modernising established software platforms.
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and practical experience using modern AI coding tools.
- A genuine systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture and design elegant, sustainable solutions.
