We are excited to present to the market a fantastic leadership opportunity to a for a Transport & Logistics Manager to join our clients company and provide leadership, operational excellence and strong customer focus.

Considerably manned with numerous employees throughout the country, you will be fully supported by a highly competent team efficiently covering day-to-day operations and administration. You will also be well supported by clear guidelines and an SMT with an open door policy.

Overseeing an array of business functions, having an analytical and proficient understanding of business financials is a key requirement in this role.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Mentorship and Staff Training, offering further development for your staff
  • Health and Safety, ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures
  • HR including staff retention and disciplinary procedures
  • Commercial Acumen covering P&L performance
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant NZ legislation in HR and H&S
  • Well-developed communication skills and a proven ability to build meaningful relationships, influence and win respect through delivery
  • Client focus
  • Overall fleet management
  • Relevant project management
