Our client is a prominent player in New Zealand’s Security Industry. With branches throughout the nation, they are a highly regarded and reputable brand.

Their Tauranga office has a leadership opportunity available, perfect for a natural leader who can maintain staff moral and loyalty whilst adhering to and meeting company standards and KPI’s. Based within the Security Industry, this role is heavily focused on staff management, health and safety and delivering service to blue chip clientele.

Responsible for a multitude of staff across varying shifts and sites, the ability to build robust working relationships and nurture a positive working environment is essential. Having a clear and confident understanding of employer responsibility and ensuring the safety, wellbeing and performance of staff is supported and maintained, is essential.

With a territory that covers the Bay of Plenty region, this role is a blend of office and on site work and offers the ideal role for those who don’t like to sit behind a desk all day. Hours may vary from time to time as you will be required to work some weekends, evenings and on a rostered system to be on call.

Busy and varied, this role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Ensure the branch is operating within budget, and performing to meet targets
  • Provide support to ensure smooth operational function of the Branch
  • Assist with HR, Recruitment procedures within the branch
  • Ensure staff are compliant with company processes through training and awareness
  • Manage rosters, teams and placements

Ideally, we are looking for an applicant who is calm and composed by nature, has the ability to foster an inspiring and motivated environment and is confident and capable of making and implementing good, solid decisions.

In a nutshell, if you have:

  • Previous operational and/or security experience
  • Confident working with numbers and secure in your ability to understand budgets
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and foster a positive working culture
  • And have previous experience managing and maintaining rosters and scheduling,
