Our client has a leadership opportunity available, perfect for a natural leader who maintains both visionary and practical outlooks. True to the nature of operational roles, this position covers a wide range of objectives with the main focal points being on staff, procedure and sales.

Operating within the Service Sector, this role is heavily based around people and includes staff and contract management. The ability to build robust relationships across both clientele and staff is essential. Such is the nature of this sector, at times unpredictable situations can and do arise. Being able to create solutions from problems, maintain clear and transparent communication and ensuring service is still being delivered to the highest standard is a regular requirement. As such, this role is on call 24/7.

As the Operations Manager, responsibilities of this position include:

  • Rostering, ensuring all staff are fully utilised, trained and suitably supervised
  • Managing any and all personnel issues and leading HR processes including any investigative or disciplinary measures
  • Recruitment, and ensuring all new employees are appropriately trained and inducted
  • Sales and account management, ensuring the best possible service is delivered across a diverse client base
  • Financial awareness, ensuring operating costs are within budget and managed
  • Ensuring company resources are appropriately administered
  • Upholding the company values within your team and ensuring these are aptly represented

Leading the region, the Operations Manager ensures the safety, wellbeing and organisation of high staff levels across several different sites throughout the region. Having a clear and confident understanding of employer responsibility and staff management is essential as is handling complaints and/or staffing issues with calm and composure.
