Currently, they have a fantastic opportunity that has just become available for an experienced Operations Manager to join their leadership team based in Auckland, overseeing their busy sites in the Auckland region.
To be successful in this role, we envisage you will have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Metal Recycling Industry, understand the unique market and ideally have established trading connections both across New Zealand and Internationally. As a large focus of this role is in sales, a background in sales management, including developing and managing a sales team, is highly advantageous.
A level 3 or above qualification in business Management and/or a minimum level 4 or equivalent qualification in Metal Recycling is highly desirable.
If you have a professional history that highlights your:
- Experience in an Operations Management role within the scrap metal industry (minimum 3 years)
- Sales Management experience
- Proven ability to manage numerous sites
- Knowledge and experience in health and safety risk management in the Scrap Metal Industry
- Ability to apply effective financial and accounting principles and practices
- Exceptional engagement and mentoring skills that will promote a positive culture across the Auckland region and develop each member of your team to be a success
