About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established, national service organisation to appoint a Regional Manager responsible for leading performance, growth, and client outcomes across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. This is a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for regional success — commercially, operationally, and culturally — supported by an experienced and capable leadership team on the ground.
Reporting directly to the New Zealand General Manager, you will take ownership of a significant regional portfolio, driving sustainable growth while ensuring exceptional service delivery across a complex, multi-site environment.
This role requires a leader who is not only operationally strong, but also commercially confident — someone who is comfortable in front of clients, can identify opportunities, and convert them into revenue growth.
You will also maintain a regular presence across the region, building strong relationships with teams on the ground and providing hands-on support where it adds value.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Sales Leadership
- Drive regional growth through new business development, contract expansion, and service diversification
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities within existing and new client accounts
- Lead commercial conversations, proposals, and negotiations with confidence
- Own full P&L performance including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management
- Maintain strong commercial discipline across pricing and cost control
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships
- Act as senior escalation point for key stakeholders
- Identify and convert opportunities to deepen partnerships and deliver additional services
Operational Leadership
Operational Leadership is a key component of this role. You will provide leadership and oversight across geographically dispersed teams, working closely with highly capable Operations Managers to ensure service delivery consistently meets contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
About You - You are an experienced senior leader who brings:
- Proven success in a multi-site, service-based environment
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership
- Confidence and credibility in selling services, leading client conversations, and closing opportunities
- A track record of growing revenue and strengthening client relationships
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
- Experience within security, facilities management, infrastructure, or similar industries will be highly regarded.
Why This Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity offering genuine influence over regional performance and growth, with a strong, established client base and clear scope to expand revenue. You’ll be supported by an experienced operational team and have direct visibility to national leadership, with the ability to contribute to broader strategy. A market rate salary package is on offer, reflective of the seniority and scope of the role, including a company vehicle.
