Trainee Yard Manager - Auckland

As with most companies with a difference, they grow! With gaining significant momentum and opening additional sites, our client is looking for a talented person who is wanting to develop their career and have the opportunity to train as a Yard Manager.

This position will be in an established site with procedures and processes in place. This is a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader to learn the business and grow into the role. Ideally, this is a role that will suit a confident people person who likes to take a proactive approach to work and enjoys using their initiative.

As this is an environment that relies on team work, all positions will be required to roll up their sleeves up and get their hands dirty with the rest of the team.

Heavy machinery and vehicles also make up a significant part of this yard and if you have the experience and licences/endorsements to operate a range of machinery including:

  • Front End Loader
  • Excavator
  • Forklift
  • Class 2 Truck

Would be highly desirable.

Being based in an active yard with numerous moving vehicles and staff, a high level of Health and Safety awareness is essential
