Client Onboarding & Implementation
Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an experienced Transitions Manager to support a growing pipeline of client onboardings and business-as-usual (BAU) fund openings. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, process-driven team working on diverse client transitions and implementations – without the stress often associated with project work.
- Work with a highly collaborative and experienced team (two other Transition Managers already in place)
- Manage processes, not people
- Support smaller onboardings and daily BAU activity – it’s structured, manageable and not high-pressure
- Great for skilled Business Analysts or professionals with strong custody or transfer agency backgrounds looking to step into a client-facing role
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver client transitions, restructures, and new business onboarding activities
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (custodians, investment managers, transfer agents) to coordinate implementation steps
- Support new fund launches, fund mergers, restructures, and terminations
- Track operational tasks including asset transfer settlements, income monitoring, and corporate actions
- Ensure documentation, governance, and communication are well maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and/or support workshops to gather requirements and clarify operating models
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
Strong understanding of custody operations, fund accounting or investment administration
Background in client implementation, transitions or project/change management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organisation and communication skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with HiPort or investment compliance a bonus
A background in custody, fund admin, transfer agency, or similar middle/back-office functions is ideal
Comfortable managing stakeholders across time zones and business units
No technical development or programming experience required
