They have a rare opportunity for an exceptional Regional Manager to join their Otahuhu branch to provide leadership and strategic vision to three branches (Auckland, Hamilton and Kawerau). Within this vital position, you will be the driving force that provides motivation and energy to the team, and ensure that the company continues on its current trajectory upwards.

Supported by a high functioning technical and administrative unit, your portfolio includes staffing levels that includes multiple direct reports. Overseeing an array of business functions, having an analytical and proficient understanding of business financials is a key requirement as you will have full responsibility of all relevant P&L's. Drawing on your well-developed business acumen and expertise, success in this role will rely on your ability to:

  • Create a team culture to mentor, grow and develop your team
  • Develop business plans, forecasts, and budgets to achieve regional growth targets
  • Maintain and develop lasting relationships with customers
  • Take full responsibility for the branches revenue, costs and expenses (P&L)
  • Manage implementation and ongoing service delivery of service contracts and provide full liaison with customers, service team and administration
  • Ensure prompt and appropriate resolution for all client issues
  • Create new and existing business sales opportunities through continuous relationship development
  • Ensure that assigned operational responsibilities and activities obtain maximum field force efficiencies
  • Prepare and analyse monthly reports and submit commentary to the Executive General Manager within set timeframes
  • Lead and foster a culture of Zero Harm and strong compliance

Ideally, you will bring with you to the role:

  • A track record of strong leadership, growth and management in a similar role
  • Experience/Trade certificate and a proven track record of practical and technical competency gained in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry and/or affiliated industry would be very advantageous
  • Working knowledge of business management systems such as Pronto would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated operational and financial experience

As well as the above mentioned attributes and experience, candidates will also require a clean and current NZ drivers licence (Full Class 1) and full vetting clearance.

While not essential, if you have management experience in a multi-discipline trade service environment (i.e. HVAC/Refrigeration, Electrical and/or Fire Protection) would be highly advantageous.
