Our client is a reputable company that provides a dedicated security and transit service throughout the country. With a reputation that has placed them at the forefront of their industry, their brand has developed into a respectable household name.

Looking to add depth and knowledge to their sales team, our client requires a National Account Manager to bring enthusiasm and energy to the team and deliver quality service. Through a range of functions and tasks, you will be a contributing factor in achieving company sales budgets and ensuring best practice and business excellence.

Tasks include:

  • Create, nurture and develop trust, integrity, open communication, and co-operation with Key Clientele as well as members of the national Sales teams.
  • Analyse new and existing sales channels and markets for potential opportunities
  • Implement financial cost/benefit/risk profiles for each specifically targeted project/contract.
  • Support the development of long term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop opportunities to add further value to projects/contracts
  • Contribute to the RFP process to ensure timely delivery of quality submissions.

Understanding of business at an operational and functioning level, your education, training and prior professional history will offer you that invaluable experience to fall back on. An understanding of logistical processes will also assist with the level of service you can provide.

In a nutshell, if you have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in strategic management, account management and negotiating
  • Worked in or with the Banking/Finance industries
  • Demonstrated success in achieving business plans/objectives
  • Good business acumen with demonstrated success in achieving business plan objectives.
  • Sound financial skills, to Profit & Loss, General ledger and Balance Sheet level.
  • Compelling ability to build relationships
  • Resourceful and capable of working within tight timetables.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Pronto.
