Our client is an established and respected engineering firm based in Lower Hutt. They have a fantastic opportunity in their company for an experienced Office Manger to work alongside the company directors, and ensure the efficient and smooth running of the business.

Appealing to the organised and efficient, this role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including:

  • Managing all Payroll and Accounts – using MYOB and ACE payroll
  • Banking; including managing business accounts
  • Ensuring IRD compliance including GST, FBT, PAYE and KiwiSaver.
  • Assisting with month end reporting and tasks
  • General administration and reception duties

For such an encompassing role, we are looking for a talented professional who enjoys variety, is motivated by challenge and is driven to succeed. Although energy and attitude speak volumes, a proven history within Administration and Accounts is essential.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has experience with the above key duties and is able to hit the ground running, perhaps coming from a similar senior administration and/or office management position.
  • Is well versed in accounts payable and receivable, payroll
  • Has experience working in the engineering or similar trade industry.
  • Is able and willing to take ownership of the role and work autonomously when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
