Based in a small, tight knit team your role will be responsible for the joint leadership and management of a large volume of staff throughout the region. With people being at the heart of this company, it is essential that you are adept at creating real connections, have the ability to navigate difficult conversations and can demonstrate a level of conduct that will generate credibility and respect.
With a territory that covers the Hawkes Bay region, this role is a blend of office and on site work and offers the ideal role for those who don’t like to sit behind a desk all day. Client facing, extensive HR duties including recruitment and disciplinaries, staff management and service delivery are just a handful of the tasks this role will encompass.
Busy and varied, this role will give you the opportunity to:
- Provide extensive staff management support to ensure smooth operational function of the Branch
- Respond to client requests and requirements directing action and providing solutions
- Support and manage staff to ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures
- Lead Health and Safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for staff
- Develop procedures, specifications, systems and processes
- Contribute to the financial success of the business
Being an operations and leadership role, ideally we are looking for a natural leader who enjoys nurturing a positive and motivating work environment and has the ability to handle several undertakings at the same time. The ability to continuously re-prioritise will be highly regarded.
