We are excited to present to the market a fantastic leadership opportunity to a for an Operations Supervisor to join our clients company and provide leadership, and add value to their Hamilton team.

Based in a small, tight knit team your role will be responsible for the joint leadership and management of a large volume of staff throughout the region. With people being at the heart of this company, it is essential that you are adept at creating real connections, have the ability to navigate difficult conversations and can demonstrate a level of conduct that will generate credibility and respect.

With a territory that covers the Waikato region, this role is a blend of office and on site work and offers the ideal role for those who don’t like to sit behind a desk all day. Client facing, staff management and service delivery are just a handful of the tasks this role will encompass.

Busy and varied, this role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be the first point of contact with our front-line staff – including communications around unforeseen absences and general work-related queries
  • Use of specialist workforce and rostering software
  • Maintenance of site-specific equipment
  • Motivate, engage and develop front line teams, ensuring standard processes are being followed by all staff members
  • Lead Health and Safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for staff
  • Contribute to the financial success of the business

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that can bring the following:

  • Degree in Business Management or similar
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and foster a positive working culture
  • Excellent and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to foster an inspiring and motivated environment
  • Ability to make and implement good decisions
  • Full, clean New Zealand driving license
