Our client is a giant in New Zealand’s construction industry and has several significant projects in the pipeline. To offer construction advice and planning with their nationwide projects, our client requires the expertise of a Structural Engineer.
Joining a knowledgeable Pre-Construction team, you will be able to working closely with several internal teams including Estimating and Delivery and Design Management specialists bringing your hands-on knowledge and experience to the table, and offer thoughtful and viable options and solutions.
In addition, you will also manage, co-ordinate and monitor all activities of consultants and selected subcontractors to ensure that design programmes are met, and information is provided to the required standards and timetable.
As well as relevant qualifications, you will also bring to the role:
- Strong, structural background with design experience
- Practical knowledge in commercial construction
- Accurate advice and expertise regarding methodology, programme and buildability, particularly for the early stages of a project.
