Our client is presenting a fantastic opportunity to the market for a mechanically minded person to develop and learn the trade of Sprinkler Fitting. Well known and established, our client is well equipped and resourced to offer quality training and support, and an environment to flourish in.
Most work will be based in commercial and industrial type builds and will cover a range of tasks including installations, repairs, maintenance and servicing.
Due to this role being a trainee position, support and leadership will be available in order for you to be able to complete these duties therefore, being able to listen to directions and working as part of a team is a must.
At times, you will also be working on sites where other contractors will be working or there is public access therefore, a good level of health and safety conscientiousness is required.
This is a perfect role for a mechanically minded person who:
- Is confident working with a range of hand and power tools
- Has a basic understanding of pipe work including some knowledge around valves, pumps and water systems.
- Can prove a history of being reliable
- Has a thirst for development and wants to pursue a career in this very worthwhile trade
- A full class 1 NZ Driver licence would be preferred
